The David N. Dinkins Manhattan Municipal Building

The New York City Hall renovation modernizes the historic Manhattan Municipal Building while preserving its landmark architectural character. The project includes the modernization of elevator interiors and lobbies, new smoke-control and life-safety assemblies, lighting integration, and associated architectural upgrades throughout the occupied civic building. My role spans concept design through construction administration, coordinating architectural work with MEP, structural, vertical transportation, fire-alarm consultants, specialty vendors, and contractors. I have been responsible for developing and coordinating details, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFIs, resolving field conditions, supporting permitting and code compliance, and maintaining the design intent through construction. The project has strengthened my ability to deliver technically complex interventions within a sensitive historic environment.
